The Steps of Torment is an underground area in Act 2, with the entrance located in the southern part of the Broken Hills.
The area is a large multilevel dungeon, and Levels 4 and 5 comprise one of Grim Dawn's sealed Challenge Dungeons. A Skeleton Key is required to enter the last two floors, and the player cannot use a riftgate to exit; the only way out is via death or completing both levels.
